With a career spanning more than 40 years, Ian Francis is a legend amongst Australian horseman and is often described as the best horseman in the world. He has trained more horses and received more awards in more western events than any other horseman this country has ever seen. He is respected in Australia and overseas as a Master Horseman. Ian will be performing 2 demonstrations on Saturday only.
New to the TEQ arena this year, Rebel Morrow made her Olympic debut at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games riding Oaklee Groover. Morrow contested the individual and team eventing finishing 11th and sixth respectively. The New South Wales athlete started riding at the age of five and she was 27 when she made her Olympic debut. Morrow and Oaklee Groover signaled their talent with a fifth placing at the Adelaide four-star event in 2003 and sealed her Olympic selection in the final selection trial held in Sydney in 2004.
Gary Lung is an Equestrian Australia qualified and experienced Dressage coach who has been coaching for the last 25 years. Gary has coached Australia wide as well as overseas. Based at his equestrian centre, “Windhill” situated south of Brisbane at North Maclean where he provides individual and group coaching. Gary has been a member of the Qld State squad with his horses Dual Chutzpah and GB Winchester. Gary travels regularly to the USA to train with Steffen Peters and is passionate in sharing his knowledge with his students throughout Australia.
Ken has been involved with horse from an early age and now conducts courses, camps, demonstrations and colt starting in Australia, New Zealand, France and the UK. Join Ken as he demonstrates the various stages of Cowboy Dressage and explains why it is currently the fastest growing horse sport in the world. Ken will demonstrate & explain how you can improve your score at your next competition.

Tanja has worked as the Mindset Coach for the Australian High-Performance Dressage and Para Squads and is coaching with other riders of all levels and in all disciplines Tanja is the Author of the book “Seven Steps to the Mindset of an Equestrian Champion” and the soon to be released book “It Takes Two To Tango –-Unveiling where we are Blocking our Horses both Mentally & Physically.

Allison has recently joined the faculty at the University of Queensland. She has 15 years’ experience working as an equine specialist in US university referral teaching hospitals, and 5 years of mixed practice experience in Australia. Allison has presented research throughout the world in the areas of equine endocrinology, fungal disease, neurology, infectious disease and pharmacology.
Show rider, handler, judge, producer, instructor…Brisbane based Paul Austin has worn many hats throughout his career. However, one thing is for sure. For years, his name has been synonymous with the highest echelons of showing and he is well known throughout Australasia for his vast knowledge of the sport and his meticulous attention to detail and Champions at Royal and National Show level.
Paul is admired for his work ethic and tact with the somewhat fragile children that get nervous and feel the pressure. Paul brings much passion to the horse world and along with that knowledge and skill. Quite simply professionalism is the key to success!

Rebel Morrow represented Australia at the 2004 Athens Olympics riding ‘OAKLEA GROOVER’ coming 11th overall and being the highest placed Australian. Join Rebel as she takes you through the process of re-training the X Race horse, how to handle them on the ground and understanding their physical capabilities.
Stephanie graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons). Following a lifelong love of horses, Stephanie recently completed her two-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy through the University of Liverpool in the UK. Stephanie enjoys using her physiotherapy skills to address musculoskeletal problems and help horses and riders perform better.
Fiona Clapin was only 15 years old, when she completed the certificate course in Equine Hoof Care with ACEHP (the Aust. Certified Equine Hoof Care Practitioners) 9 years ago.
She then turned her love for horses and hooves into a career, creating a business called “Run Bare Hoof Care”. She was in hot demand as the only qualified hoof specialists in Alice Springs.
